Our school offers a sound "child growth and development" program, with emphasis on character and citizenship development. It makes provisions for individual differences in children, whereby each child can develop physically, mentally, and socially under the guidance of trained teachers who are competent and experienced. The majority of our teachers have been with Timberbend Academy from 3-16 years!

We further the child's home training, endeavoring to teach manners, politeness, obedience, thoughtfulness, and sharing with others.

Character education is a vital part of our school system. Our objective in education is to develop well-trained citizens of integrity. As devoted teachers, we accept our share of the responsibility to train boys and girls to be intelligent, patriotic citizens.

Next to the home, the school is of the most importance in directing the attitudes and molding the character of little children.

Our building is modern, centrally air-conditioned and heated, and furnished with up-to-date, comfortable equipment.

Our playgrounds are clean with adequate space and play equipment. Also, there are divided sections for different age groups. A portion of our building has been designated for inside play and physical fitness programs during bad weather days. Two- and three-year-old children are completely separated from the other children on the playground.

We are licensed by the State of Texas to accommodate 150 children, ranging from infants through 12 years.
